Anyone else lose weight in the 3rd tri?

in 3rd Trimester
I just got back from the doc and he told me I am down 5 pounds from the original 16 pound weight gain. I am now at an 11 pound weight gain and I am kind of weirded out by this? He wasnt concerned with it at all but I by no means want to lose any weight while pregnant. Has this happened to anyone else?

    It's not uncommon to lose weight in your 3rd trimester. I didn't gain or lose anything for almost 7 weeks during the 3rd trimester. It has to do with not eating enough simply because baby is taking up so much room! Don't worry, it's quite common. Just make sure you're taking your vitamins to make sure baby is getting what he/she needs! As long as your dr isn't worried I wouldn't stress either.

    Yes. I have lost 7 pounds this trimester so far. My midwives are beginning to get concerned about it, as am I. That brings my total weight gain this pregnancy so far to 11 pounds. During my last pregnancy I gained close to 60 pounds so this is really weird for me and I don't understand why!

    I lost 2 lbs at my last appointment and the doctor was semi concerned because he sent me for a growth scan (which I had last Friday and went fine).  I went in today and gained those 2lbs back + a 1/4 of a lb.  So my totaly gain so far this pregnancy is 20.25 lbs.  He was totally fine with that and keeps telling me to do what I keep doing.

    I have yet to gain anything in my pregnancy...i am actully about 6 lbs down from from beginging weight.  Doc says everything is fine.  I would not worry about it.
