I'm 30w2d and was just wondering when to expect the nesting to begin. Usually I'm a big nester, especially when we move to a new house or something but I just haven't really had the urge to nest yet. I've had two miscarriages and I think I'm still just a little nervous that something could go wrong (although both of those losses were before 12 weeks and I think I'm mostly in the clear for this one). Anyway, those thoughts still linger in the back of my mind and I think they're keeping me from getting ready for this little guy. Or maybe it's just that I'm too tired to do anything but sit around the house when I have a day off from work. lol

It's getting harder to move around though!
It's starting to kick in for me. In my case it's mostly because my brain finally clicked that she could be here any day, and be home from the hospital 24 hours later. I keep looking around and going "what am I going to want to do while in labor?" and trying to get it done now. Mostly it's stupid stuff like make sure laundry is done, dishwasher loaded, stuff like that.
Oh, and my nesting has also apparently taken the form of sewing. I always liked sewing in theory and have a closet filled with pretty fabrics that I never did anything with. I've now made 10 elaborate burp cloths, 6 blankets, 5 pillow cases and am working on some diy slings.

Nesting? What is that? Of course, I'm kidding...
I'm 39 weeks and the urge to nest has kicked in but not the energy to do it.
Two hours ago.
I'm five days past my due date, and I seriously thought I was just not going to get the bug. My husband's been in the cleaning mode, so he was really picking up my slack while I was feeling huge and tired. We went to the thrift store this afternoon, and I raided the sock bin. Folding them and putting them away did it to me! They were so cute and tiny, I just had to play with baby's stuff and get things more ready.
