This mommy & vomit don't mix TMI

For the first time that I can remember, Sean got sick tonight. He hasn't thrown up since he was a baby and spit up is definitely different than vomit. My poor kid stuffed a little too big of a piece of potato in his mouth and started to choke and gag. Man, it took all I had---ugh, whoever said it's easier to deal with when it's your own children is surely mistaken!?

  • Oh no, poor Sean

I so feel you. And here I was thinking I was going to be a pediatrician when I grew up. Hehehe. Me + bodily fluids = not so good.

  • Yuck, poor kid!  And poor mommy!!  Yeah, for some reason I don't mind the #2 diapers so much (most of the time).  But vomit... that's a whole 'nother story.  I just can't do it.  Whereas DH is pretty much the opposite -weird, huh?
  • Oh no!! Poor mommy and poor Sean.  I hope it a one time event.  And I'm with you on the vomit.  Don't even get me started about it happening at school!!!
  • hahaha, sorry I can only imagine.  We have not hit the vomit stage yet, although I have had her drool and spit up on me.  The best spit ever was when she spit on my chest and it dripped down my cleavage and just collected in the middle of my boobs in my bra... Tongue Tied
  • Oh, poor guy!  And poor mommy!

  • Uggh.  So sorry, Erica.  :(  I hope you don't have to deal w. that again.  OR at least for a looooong time!  And I hope the boys are feeling better overall... and ready to be adorable in their tuxes!

This is a daily occurance for me.... (I sware she aims)

which leads me to... I'm so sorry Erica, I'm not looking forward to vomit, I get queasy and I can't imagine being able to hold it together. I'm proud of you! Poor Sean!

  • Sad ?Oh no!! ?Poor Sean and mommy!!?

?I'll have to admit the 1st time I could barely hold it together. ?After about the 5th or 6th time of cleaning or getting vomited on (it happened again yesterday) ?it has gotten a little easier. ?I still choke, gag, and almost get sick but it has gotten a little better than the 1st time it happened.?
