So last night he came home, having spent a couple of hours at a bar with a guy from work.
I was kinda dying... long day with a toddler, etc. He asked me why I was huffing and puffing.
I said "Well, I am exhausted. I am 40 years old, 35 weeks pregnant, and just spent 14 hours chasing a toddler. It's exhausting."
Know what the azzhole said? "Well, you're not working full time, either."
Tell me that's not grounds for castration.
Re: MH needs an asskicking.
Liam is 5!
OMG! ?Dai has a great idea!
?
You need to borrow one of the empathy bellies for him for an entire weekend.
?
***.?
uh, yeah not cool. In addition to Dai's fantabulous idea, he can no longer drink, either. Just to make it fair.
Oh man... tell me you picked up the nearest huge thing and chucked it at his head?!
I probably would have smarted back to him-- No, I'm not working full time-I'm work ALL.THE.DAMN.TIME. My day never ends!!! Yours ends at 5 and you can call in sick or take a day off!!
I'd agree with that.
Seriously. He's turned into this giant azzhole since DS was born. He's got this 1950s mentality that his only responsibility is making money and doing a (little) yard work. He has done ONE load of laundry since he moved in with me 4.5 years ago. He'd rather wear dirty underwear than do it himself.
Meanwhile, I am left to do the cleaning, cooking, shopping (clothes and food), child care, bill paying, and everything BUT going to th office every day. I've tried asking for help, I've tried just not doing it, but I can't live like that. The house was a pigsty within one weekend, and the time I handed the bills over to him, we started to get all kinds of late notices. I am not f*ng up my credit score because he's a lazy ass.
He's a passive-agressive jerk. I am terrified of what is going to happen after this baby is born.

I'm sorry - we go through phases like this at our house, too. It's so incredibly frustrating. My husband has a completely different set of issues (he's super clean and does laundry, thank God) but I also get scared about what it will be like with #2.
