I am shocked.
She's guilty as sin, but there wasn't enough evidence and there was reasonable doubt, so she was found not guilty.
Seriously. The only thing they could convict her of was providing false information? REALLY?
Disgusting.
this...wasn't enough hard evidence to prove without reasonable doubt that she did it.
Although personally I believe she did.
Even worse, she's free to have more children in the future.

But on a serious note, I didn't follow the case super close, but from what I read/heard, I'm discusted and sick to my stomach over this. The fact that now she is free to go about her life, and in the back of her mind know that she was the reason that Caylee is gone is so horrible.
I agree. I know she is guilty but I don't think they proved it. Now she is going to get out of jail and have NO WHERE to go. She accused her Dad and brother of molesting her, her mother's a psycho and everyone else thinks she is crazy. Crazy day.
She may have been aquitted by the jury but she doesn't have to deal with them in everyday life. When shes walking the streets or at the store or any place out in public, she will know that (almost) every single person will be staring at her, talking to their friends/coworkers/strangers about how she is a child killer. I wouldn't be surprised if she goes into hiding for quite some time because I'm sure there are other crazies(because I think she is somewhat crazy too) that will try to kill her and get justice. I would secretly hope someone already in prison takes care of her but I don't even think she will get anymore prison time. I really hope that all of these media stations and things really don't shell out money to her for coverage of this crap. Thats just giving her what she wanted, meanwhile poor Caylee suffered and died at the hands of the one person who was supposed to protect her.
I just hope Casey realizes that Karma is a Biotch.

There was plenty of evidence to convict. The problem is that society watches too much damn TV. Everyone is completely disillusioned by all of the hypotheticals that Hollywood throws at us with their dramas. All a criminal needs to do is have some sneaky little backup story for each and every piece of "evidence". One person has to think, "Oh, that's possible, I saw it on CSI"... and BOOM! Reasonable doubt.
She murdered her daughter. Plain and simple. Reality has been clouded by the spectacle surrounding cases like this. THERE WERE PHYSICAL SIGNS OF DECOMPOSITION IN HER TRUNK! What more of a "smoking gun" do you need?!?
