  I don't have experience with either of them (I'm a FTM), but Baby Bargains gave the Lansinoh a B rating and had mixed reviews on it.  If you are looking for something cheaper than the Medela, have you considered the Ameda Purely Yours or the Avent Isis IQ Duo?  Both of these have an A-rating on Baby Bargains and are on Amazon for $161.  They are both also closed system pumps. 

  I'm currently debating between the Ameda Purely Yours, Avent Isis IQ Duo, Medela PISA, and Medela Freestyle.  Everyone always recommends the Medelas, but I'm really wanting a closed system pump (which the Medelas aren't).

  I have the lansinoh and no real complaints other than it's a bit loud. With the price, I'm surprised more ladies don't use it. I use it with a hands free bra.

  I bought the Medela Pump in Style advanced online last night.  It comes with the black metro bag and a cooler with all the attachments and some great extras.  The parts are all new and sealed, however I found it on ebay (used for 3 weeks) at $89 plus S&H by a 100% rated seller and original owner.  I'm very happy with that price and all the plastic parts are NEW and sealed.  I trust that the listing is accurate based on the seller's 100% rating, but if there is anything not sealed when I receive it I can always buy the set up kit directly from Medela for about $50.

  I might be too late, but the Medela pump in the tote is on clearance at BRU and you can use the online 20% off coupon with it. Tomorrow is the last day though. I scored my pump for $150. It's the In Style Advanced, I think (double electric).

  I have the Lansinoh Double Electric (not Affinity) and had very good experiences with it. When I used it at home and the Medula Symphony in C's NICU room I got similar output between the two.

  Please do not buy a used open system (Medula) pump).

  I had the Lansinoh with first baby and went back to work after 8weeks so I pumped at work but BF at home. My Lansinoh only lasted about 6 months or so before the motor died. It was a shower present so I couldn't send it in to get it replaced for free. So I just went ahead and bought a Medela and loved it so much more!!
