cheesecake

DH's birthday is next week and he really loves cheesecake.  I really don't want a huge giant cheesecake here that only the two of us will really eat much of.  And I am not great at making cheesecake anyway.  Sooooo... does anyone know somewhere that I can buy a SMALL cheesecake that's really yummy?

Are you close to a Central Market?  Their cheesecakes are DELISH!

  • I am pretty sure TJ's sells smaller frozen ones. You could do some fresh fruit for on top to dress it up a bit. Or their caramel sauce, which is sold in the ice cream seciton would be yummy on top.

Nope, but I could make it an outing and go to Mill Creek and I might just "accidentally" pick up Donuts at Frost too.  ;)

    So they have little ones?

  • By Pike's Place Market is The Confectional where they have mini cheesecakes (individual portions) lots of flavors and they are AMAZING!

Yep - they have the little ones.  Their bakery items selection is GINORMOUS!  I always go in there for one thing and walk out with like 5. Bad Brianne.
  • Also, Sara Lee sells single serve cheesecakes - found in most freezer sections. The cheesecake and key lime pie ones are a-m-a-z-i-n-g. A bit fancier you can always buy a nice big slice or two at Cheesecake Factory.
  • I like the idea of a few slices from Cheesecake Factory, then you can get an uber gooey kind with the flavors he likes.  Like for my hubby it'd be whatever one has an obscene amount of peanut butter.

You could always get a regular cheesecake and send the leftovers with hubby to work.

  • Whole Foods also has small cheesecakes or even PCC.

He doesn't really like Cheesecake Factory cheesecake - it's too "fluffy". I actually like it because of that, since I am not really a huge cheesecake fan.

That is the exact same reason I dont like cheesecake factory cheesecake!!  Although they do have this delicious chocolate cake that has a cheesecake layer that is SO good.   Great.. now I want cheesecake.
