FFFC - 4th of July weekend edition

After complaining to friends that I was sad that DH was (at one point) going to be away at least 1 night this weekend to help his parents clear out their storage unit--and get a lot of nice outdoor furniture--because I wanted to spend time with him, I now wish he still WAS going (he's not, storage is closed).

I love my DH and he's a very helpful, involved father. But I'm getting really tired of his frustration with things and how it comes out. He bottles things up until they explode out. And I've been somewhat snippy with him lately.

So now I WANT him to go away for a few days--even if it means I'm home alone with DS and my family (for those who don't know, we live with my disabled parents) because I end up doing most of the household stuff anyway.

Plus I'd get the bed to myself.

No flames from me. I like the days when DH works at night bc I put A to bed at 8 and then relax with a glass of wine and watch a chick flick. The bed to yourself is nice too

No flames whatsoever. You have a lot of responsibilities so it makes sense that you'd like a little help from DH. It also makes sense that you'd like the occasional break from DH as well :P
