Question about temping...

Morning Ladies...

 

Ok, so i woke up this morning at 5:30 as usual and took my temp which was 97.5. I always take it twice to make sure it is the same temp ( I don't know why I do this, obsessive i guess) Well, when i took it the second time it was 97.6, I then took it again a 3rd time and it was still 97.6. Now here is my concern/question. which temp do i use?? When i went on to FF and i logged 97.6 it gives me CH's for friday which is what i was thinking, but with the 97.5 I get nothing. What do you ladies think? The reason this is such an issue is that if i O'd it would be the first time on my own. So i want to make sure it is accurate. 2nd, even if it was 97.5, does that mean i really didn't O previous days? Like no chance at all? I love FF, I am just curious at it's accuracy and if some woman have also o'd with FF saying they didnt, or earlier or later that FF said.

    My best advice would be stop taking your temp twice.  ALWAYS use the first temp.  Even, just the extra seconds between the first and second temp of being awake can start causing your temp to rise and then your chart won't be accurate.

    Use the first temp always. As for your CH's wait and see what your temp does tomorrow, if you get a higher temp you will more than likely get CH's for Friday.

    Stick with your first temp.

    This is my first month charting as well, but from what I understand it may take a few days for FF to determine where to put your CH's.  Give it a few more days and you may still get CH's on Friday.

    Yeah, that's what i figured too! Wishful thinking!

    So excited to finally see crosshairs since the 4 months I've be temping and charting! lol

    Definitely stop taking it twice. It can vary .2 degrees for me within minutes.
