What can a RE even do for me? I can get pregnant like a champ, I just can't stay pregnant. I am just now in the midst of my 5th chemical pregnancy and we've been trying for 10 cycles.
My first appointment is August 5th but I just don't understand what they can even do? Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks so much, I just feel a little lost.
Re: Anyone seeing an RE for recurrent pregnancy loss?
Thanks Jenny, I am looking forward to seeing the RE (kind of), I just want some answers.
I've had my progesterone tested by my OB and he said it was "normal" (it was the 7dpo bloodwork)...I still feel like I am bottoming out after 9DPO and then losing the baby. I've mentioned this to my OB and he didn't seem too impressed. Maybe the RE will test me a little more extensively for this. My temps do drop to just above my coverline even when I'm pregnant and then totally drop below when I start to bleed. I wish my OB would have just given me progesterone supplements for every cycle I get a BFP, maybe I'd still be pregnant with one of them
Thanks again

For us, they were able to identify some of the causes of our recurrent losses. They think ours are from my thyroid disease, blood clotting issue and egg and sperm quality. Ivf is supposed to help with all of these. I'm on meds for the thyroid disease and blood clotting issue.
