fetal growth?

I went for a fetal growth scan yesterday at 31 wks.  My baby measured in the 48th percentile.  They told us she weight 3lbs and 10oz.  Is that good? I mean the woman said it was average, but wouldn't go into anymore detail than that? Also the baby had a blunt chin and SO said that could be bad.  Anybody know what it means having blunt vs. pointy features means? TIA

    I have never heard about the chin term before, but looks like your babies growth is going well and they are exactly on the average size.   I tend to have very big babies and at 32 weeks my guy is at the 91st percentile....which means another 9-10 pound baby for me.

    Looks like it thus far.  Not to worry.  Looks like so far a perfect size.  Not monster-size like mine :)

    Why, are you having complications? If not, I'd assume as long as she's born after about 36 weeks, she should come home with you. As far as size goes, she sounds great - my 1st DD was born at 34 weeks and she only weighed 3lb 12oz.
