Hilton Head, SC......Have you been?(NTTGP)

Hey Ladies!!!! Just wondering if any of you have been to Hilton Head, SC? Any suggestions on things to do, places to see or eat? DH and I are going there for vacation next week and are looking for a few things to do other than laying on the beach. TIA

    Hi! I have been to HH a few times & we are going back for a family vaca in August!! Things we always do: Harbor Town- they have the lighthouse there, good food & live music! S. Beach Marina Village- Salty dog, more shopping & also great food. Coligny Plaza- shopping center, movies & food too! We usually rent bikes.. they have paths Everywhere! There are also several other little food places on the beach that have live music & fantastic food! Hope you have a great time!!!

    Oh fun fun! I love Hilton Head! You must eat at The Jazz Corner. Michael Anthony's is an amazing Italian place.

    Para sailing is awesome. The company that does that is called Palmetto Bay, I think. There are a ton of spas, my personal favorite is called "All About Me."

    If you are into history, visit the Baynard Plantation. I love historical things, and enjoyed the Plantation, however DH doesn't care for that type of thing and said it was tolerable but "not his thing." The Zion Cemetery is another neat historical site.

    If either of you are into golf, there are a ton of courses, DH would recommend Robbers Row in Port Royal.  There are several places to play Tennis. 

    Contact Special K Charters and set up a trip on their yacht that takes you out and around the islands. It is so beautiful. Not as expensive as it sounds. We love  it because only your party goes out, so you are not cramped on the yacht with 50 people you dont know fighting to get to the front of the mob to take pictures... and trust me you will want to take pictures!

    Thanks Ladies!!!! These sound like some must see places and things to do. We plan on taking our own bikes so we will be hitting those trails. I think my MIL also booked one of those Special K Charters so that should be exciting. Oh and I love wine so I will have to check out the Island Winery.
