I leave them in the container they come in, so the air circulates. And you should only wash them as you need them. If you wash them and store them the moisture encourages the mold to grow. I just got some fresh picked berries (blue and straw) from the market, and the guy told me to store them in an open container w/ a paper towel at the bottom and one laid lightly over the top.
They have different settings for different produce. They seem to keep the strawberries really well, for a long time.
I just bought one of these on Sunday and put strawberries in it this morning. If it works, I plan on buying more as a tupperware lady sets up at our farmer's market in town.

Umm, I wash the whole thing, cut off the greens, and then just put it in a big bowl. And then we eat it all up. Our fruit never lasts long enough to go bad.
