So I go into the u/s room the tech tells me to lay on the table and lower my pants. I think weird, usually I undress first, but OK. So I lay on the table and proceed to pull my pants down to my knees.. she is like uhhh... no honey, first we will do an external u/s. HAHA. So I pull my pants up.
I told her that I am just so use to dropping my pants for everyone that it has become habit... we laughed. As embarrassing as that was, I actually needed the laugh. It felt good.
Unfortunately, the results of the u/s weren't good. The misoprostol didn't get rid of the retained products, which I kind of figured as I didn't pass any clots. The OB thinks I am getting an infection so I am now on antibiotics and I have another d&c scheduled for tomorrow. Also depending on my beta results tomorrow I may also have to have a laparoscopy b/c of the ectopic. All of this means more pant dropping...
Amazingly, I haven't shed a tear today - lump in throat, shaky voice, but no tears.

Isn't bad that we are all so used to dropping trou that it comes almost natural.
I am sorry you have to go for another d&c; I am sure that doesn't make this process any easier. (((hugs))

IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

While it's not funny, it is .. seriously, it's scary how routine it has become to get naked from the waste down for strangers and how little it effects us anymore. Seriously, I can't even count how many dates I've had with the dildo cam anymore. Tomorrow is #2 for this week alone and there will be at least 2-3 more.
I'm sorry to hear about the rest though ...

Twice they have asked me to get on a scale, AFTER my pants are off. i'm like "why do u want to start at my vag and butt, while u weigh me" lol.
HUGE HUGS Mayan...I hope all of this will be over with soon. When i had my m/c, i just got numb after awhile. I think i was out of tears.

And I did the same thing once! I had a different u/s tech who for some reason starts with an external u/s before doing the dildo cam. So you're not the first to try to get naked for an external u/s.

EDD 10/15/16
At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
