Good morning! Is anyone here? I actually go up when I was supposed to this morning but this board is deader then dead. Anyone want to talk to me?

what're you doing today?
I had the carpets cleaned yesterday so I have to revacuum everything downstairs and then put the furniture back where it was a then I have a mountain of laundry to fold. Also my mom and sister suggested a book that might help my sore back so we might make a library trip today sometime.

Re: early morning roll call!
G'mornin'!
I'm here for a couple of minutes! Sounds like you have a lot of work to do today! Sheesh! Do the carpets look good at least?
And what's wrong with your back?!?! Back pain is the worst. It interferes with everything!
This morning I have a Dr. appt. to discuss the loss, and then hubs is taking us out to lunch. That's about all I have planned!
I'm here, not that you know me.
It's nearly bedtime for me, sounds like a seriously busy day for you though!
The carpets look awesome! We have white carpets in our family room (why did they put in white??) and they looked so bad. I had tried to do them myself before the baby came but it did nothing so I hired cleaners this time. They finished in like half an hour and they look so good, lol! They said I have to vacuum 24 hours after they did it and the furniture is still all out of place.
I've always had a bad back, I have slight scoliolis (sp?) and always have pain. I used to work for a chiropractor for 5 years and was able to get adjusted for free and that helped a lot. I can't afford to get adjusted once a week now though and our insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care,
it's $50 a time, at least... if I'd get my knees and elbows adjusted it would be close to $100.
I hope your appointment goes well. I'll be thinking of you.
Well hello there
I actually recognize your wedding picture so I must have seen you post before, I feel like it was on another board though... I have always wanted to go to Australia. Is it awesome there? I imagine that it is
Good morning! I feel like I am always here in the morning when things are their quietest. This is why I missed coffee talks! DS just finished breakfast and I am contemplating what to eat. We have nothing even remotely desirable in the house right now unless I would like to eat potato salad for breakfast.
How is Katy sleeping? Getting back to normal? Dash went down early (for him) last night and stayed asleep till 6:30am which, considering his last feed before bed was 6 (it's usually 8) is pretty amazing.
Hi BK! I'm jealous that you are done with your laundry, I am never done
I've posted a tiny bit, but I'm usually asleep when the boards are jumping.
Australia is wonderful, and you should absolutely come here... but wait until your dollar gets better, because with the US dollar you can really live it up sometimes, but not now!
I love it in the states, I've spent sometime there, but never in PA. My parents visited there and loved it though.
Hi JBrianne! I couldn't believe how dead it was here, lol! I kept hitting refresh and nothing, not even views. Wake up people! haha.
Katy slept bad again last night, I think, I'm pretty out of it at night now and have just resigned myself to cosleeping/bedsharing. Everytime I lay her down in her crib she wakes up and won't go back to sleep, but if I'm holding her in bed and she wakes up she goes right back to sleep without a fuss. So both of us sleep better with bedsharing, so that's how it's going to be for a while I suppose. ::shrugs::
That's awesome Dash slept good for you! I hope it continues!
Were they? I thought it was just the one.
Is it weird that I'm actually jealous of all this talk of laundry?
I have no laundry - I haven't since we tore it out over a year ago! DH keeps promising to tile the new room so I can get it plumbed and organised, but it never quite happens.
I use the laundromat. I miss having a washing machine.
PA's not all that exciting, unless you love mountains and camping. There are some beautiful mountainous areas a bit more north of us. I grew up in NJ, close to the shore... but I'm not like those Jersey Shore imposters though!
ETA: and I love your DD's name! it's so pretty!
Hey, hi, hello. I'm here. Somehow with our AC running I totally slept through Quinn getting up last night and DH ended up sleeping with her on the couch. So I got a nice night almost all to myself in the bed. It was glorious.
I'm totally jealous of your clean carpet Cherry. My living room needs to get done sooooo bad.
Other than that I've got to put some laundry away today and then work for a bit and then I have no real plans. Maybe a walk.
Lies, you're totally a fake tanning fist pumping 100lbs-of-makeup wearing gal. How does it feel to be a dirty rotten liar Cherry? Huh? HUH?
yeah, thank God I don't have 19 kids! lol! Don't they hire someone to do their laundry? I seriously can't imagine ::shudder:: I can't believe how much more we have to do with 5, it's awful. It also doesn't help that it's my least favorite thing to do and I will do anything else to avoid it :P then I really get behind.
Thanks - we love her name and Norah suits her perfectly. You have a Katy, don't you? I'm a Kate, so I'm very partial to that name!
ahh, TV stereotypes. You have Jersey Shore, we have the crocodile hunter. I don't sound anything like him, and neither does my DH. Unless we're really drunk, and then, well, that doesn't count
that sucks! I would have been so pissed! These people were really into their job, lol! they kept calling me down to look at stuff and make sure this and that was ok. They were very concerned with a particular stain that had been under the couch... I was like, "dudes it's ok, we'll just put the couch back over it", haha! they did a great job though, I should really give them a review or something.
That really stinks. Anytime I've ever had to use a laundromat I've hated it. I would go to wash comforters and when we get back from camping I'll take the sleeping bags, but it is no fun. I would not be happy if I didn't have my own washer/dryer. Have you always lived in Australia?
orange is totally not my color.
Yeah, I don't love the laundromat. Luckily it is just across the road, and we haven't lost anything yet (knock on wood!)
Hopefully he'll get some done this weekend. It would help if we could be at home for a few days uniterrupted!
Judith is so cute, I love the smile on her face in your siggy
I'm here for a few and will pop in throughout the day. Abigail is rolling around on the floor and still trying to crawl. It is so funny. She gets on all fours and scoots/hops with her knees. I love it.
I am exhausted because she was up all night. I am over the no sleep bologna.
The library sounds like a great idea-maybe we'll go too!
haha! well I do hope you have an accent though, I LOVE an Australian accent, I think it's my favorite
I've been out of Jersey for so many years now that I think I lost my accent, and now it's a mix between a PA dutchy accent and Jersey, weird :P
I have always loved here, although I did spend 6 months at college in the states. That was my big escape! I went to Purdue, loved it, and still have the mac and cheese addiction to show for it! have you ever visited Aus?
ah, a bitzer accent
I'm all Aussie, but in total denial of sounding anything like the croc hunter. he's truly bogan.
Oh man there is so much cleavage happening in that gif. I'm giggling a lot.
To join the laundry conversation: I am never done laundry. Between running clothes and diapers, I'm surprised any of our regular clothes actually get done at all. I'm just glad Dash has stopped barfing 10 times after every meal (that is NOT an exaggeration) - I used to have to do a load of towels every day too because of it.
No but H and I have always wanted to. I think I'm more scared about the long flight and time change/jet lag. Maybe when Jack (and/if other kids) get older) we can do it. Everything I've ever read or seen about Australia is beautiful. Particularly Keith Urban lol
Cherry- Where are you from in Jersey??
You should definitely bring your family out here one day. Save up your leave and do it properly though - come out for 3 weeks and really see the country!
South Jersey. We lived in Pennsauken for a little (scary) and then we moved to Mt. Laurel and lived there for the rest of my childhood... I went to Lenape HS.
The two men in my life. Oh, and I have a husband too...
I'm on the other side of the country to Perth - I'm about 2 hours north of Melbourne. Perth is beautiful though, I visited there for the first time in May this year.
You get used to driving on the 'wrong' side of the road, although I did nearly kill a friend with fright when he let me drive his truck when I was in the states!
Ok, I gotta call it a night. I'm pretty sure I told DH I'd be in bed an hour ago!
oops.
lovely to finally meet you ladies, hopefully you'll be around when I get up in the morning! I'm finally getting wifi this week, so I'll be around the boards a little more when I can bump from my phone.
