I know it's SUPER EARLY..I don't even have a ticker yet because I am so supersticious and won't put one up until 12wks..which is in like a week..
Anyway, we are going to go team green. But I stumbled upon this girls name and I LOVE it but I just wanted to see what other peoples opinion is..I think it's still going to be on our list even if everyone on here HATES it..
The girls name is Liana..Here is the meaning.. Liana li(a)-na as a girl's name is pronounced lee-AHN-ah. It is of French and Jewish origin, and the meaning of Liana is "to twine around". Name of a vine common to tropical rain forests. Also short form of names like Liliana and Juliana, or a variant of Eliana.
I would make this a clicky poll but I still don't know how! SOrry..
So..do people love it or hate it or special snowflake!

I like it a lot...the only thing I think of is that she'll have to spell it for everyone, and tell them how to pronounce it correctly. That wouldn't slow me down, though, if I really liked it.
Although, I even have to spell Caroline's name for people ALL.THE.TIME and it is a super classic name...I never imagined that people wouldn't be able to spell it...
Speaking as the Mommy of an Elena, I LOVE it.
My *only* hesitation would be the pronunciation of the middle a, Li-on'-a vs. Li-ann'-a.
But my name and both of my girls' names have a similar issue, so I wouldn't let that stop me, especially if you're going with the more common pronunciation (at least, that has always been my reasoning, whether relevant or true or not!). I love it.

Pregnant with #2 with LPD, uterine polyp/hysteroscopy, DOR (AMH = 0.17), 2 c/ps

When I read it, I thought Lee_anne_A too.
But I love the sound of Liana...the way you explained it. I really love Eliana too....maybe even more;)
