talk to me about 2 year molars

The girls have their front teeth, canines and 1 year molars.  I *think* they are done until 2 year molars come.  I am hoping those hold off until they are 2.  Did your kid/s get those right at 2, or can they come in even earlier?


After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    DD is clearly working on them...she sticks her fingers in her mouth pretty much daily to gnaw on them and her gums are raised.  But honestly it's been like this for at least a month, probably closer to two.  All her other teeth came in boomboomboom right after each other, starting with her top two teeth at 4 months so we had 1 year molars (and all the fun that came with them) right around 1 year - 16 months.  And then it's been quiet until now.  So far so good.

    And holy siggy cuteness!  Your girls are just precious!

    WOw!  Your girls are getting so big! They are the cutest.

    With DS, they came early...I think around 18 months but he had his first 2 teeth at 4 months so it wasn't surprising.  I found the 2 year molars were actually quick to come down compared to the canines.

    With DD, she is turning 2 in 2.5 months and there is no sign of them yet.

    We've been working on them for about a month, I think.

    As a matter of fact, she woke up crying at 530am today...crying and gnawing on her fingers.

    Good times.

    It varies so much. Hayden was a late teether (he got his first teeth at 10 months). He has everying but his 2year molars at this point but has no sign of them yet.

    Jacob got most of his teeth a bit on the early side.  There was a pretty big gap between his last canines and his 2 year molars.  They started coming in in December and I would say that they were the worst of his teeth.  He would wake overnight and whine.  And he had his hands in the back of his mouth non stop.

    They were all in by the time he turned 2.  :)

    My DS got his first teeth at 10 months also...but then got the rest of his teeth so quickly - he was done teething right before he turned 2 (I think the 2 year molars started coming in 2 months before his birthday).  He finished just in time for DD to cut her first tooth - so the teething just never ended in this house :(
