Tylenol = a happy child, for once.

This is kind of sad but LO has been such a pill for weeks and weeks now and I just figured that it was further evidence after months of colic, that she was just a cranky high maintenance baby.

Just as an experiment I gave her some tylenol this morning, figuring if by some chance it's teething pain making her such a mess that tylenol would help.

Well, she's been giggling and playing all morning without a single screech or whine. She's just lying on the floor grinning right now, then rolls over, rolls again, rocks on her hands and knees, rolls again.

Poor little thing. I don't want to give her tylenol every day but I'm sad that she must be in pain a lot if this is how different she acts when it stops!

  • Tooth pain is no joke! When my wisdom teeth were coming in it hurt like a mofo. A little bit of Tylenol isn't going to hurt her, and it's our jobs as mommies to make the pain bearable for them :)

  • Happy to hear it helped! I can relate with having a crab and then tylenol helping, I try to rotate it with ibuprofen and only use it once a day on really bad days.

Don't feel bad, babies don't come with a translation sheet.

I'm glad she's having fun today.

  • dont feel bad.  last week for 2 days straight griffin was such a fuss bucket and hes usually not like that.  so i gave him tylenol both days since i thought he was teething.  the 3rd day he had a biiig poop and was happy the rest of the day.  i guess he had a tummy ache and wasnt teething.
