little tummy's gripe water or gas drops with simethicone?

we're not sure if ds has gas problems or reflux but he grunts horribly after almost every feeding.  His poor little face turns red and he's squirming all over swaddle or not.  I can hear him swallow a bunch of air when he nurses and he gulps and slips on and off my breast.  I think he's being attacked by my milk and can't handle how fast its coming.  This makes me think gas, but I"m not sure.  Dr. said it may be reflux because grunting is a sign of that too.  In an effort to make him feel better and all of us get some sleep at night instead of constant grunting between feeding I'd like to try some drops.  I don't know if I should get the little tummy's gripe water or the gas drops with simethicone.  What have you used that works?  Is there one that works for either situation?

  • We use the gas drops and they work wonderfully. It's also a plus that they can have up to 12 doses a day so we give DD a dose before every feeding, It has made a huge difference. Good luck!

This - it made a huge difference.  The one day I didn't do this was AWFUL.
