DH drives a Toyota Celica which is a very compact vehicle. We are struggling to find a convertible carseat that can fit RF. Any recommendations? We'd prefer one with a higher weight limit.

Re: Recommend a RF carseat for a VERY compact vehicle.
I have an Evenflo Titan Elite and it's the only seat that I can use RF and still be able to (barely) have a passenger.
I'd look for the seat with the shortest back/headrest you can find.

What type of car do you have if you don't mind me asking?
We don't even care if the front passenger seat can hold a passenger b/c if we are all together we take my SUV. We are struggling to find a seat where the passenger seat can even lock in place in the farthest forward position.

What have you tried so far?
If you have found one that almost fits, it might be worth a call to the manufacturer to see if there's any wiggle room on the recline. If you can reduce the recline slightly, that might give you the inch or so that you need to fit the seat behind the passenger.

It would be worth it to try the Evenflo seats the pps mentioned. We have an Evenflo Momentum 65 in my car and I like it just as much as the Marathon that we have in DH's truck. The Triumph is another Evenflo choice.
The Cosco Scerena now has a version that goes to 40 pounds RF (same as the MyRide), so that might be a good choice for a non-primary seat. (Just as safe, but not as many convenience features or padding.)

The Marathon and Boulevard didn't fit in my truck, either. Just for reference
We have the Combi Cocorro too and love it. Ended up getting it even for our SUV. Nice thing is that it fits on an airplane too. (and it has a snap and go type stroller you can get for it and a carrying bag. I got the whole set-up on Zulily. Bought the 2nd one on Amazon). Good luck
I actually have a Nissan Rogue...which looks big but in reality has the same back seat space as a small sedan.
