I've been such a crazy about who holds LO, and when and where we bring him. I'm finally starting to let up. However, yesterday at a family reunion, I begrudgingly allowed my 9-yo cousin to hold him while seated for a picture, and he was so responsible about it.
...except I forgot to have him use hand sanitizer first... today I'm totally freaked.

You're so right! But if he grows a third eye or something, I'm going to attribute it to the kid with the unsanitized hands... LOL

You need to relax. If you really think this puts you in the terrible mom category, you're going to have a hard time in life. If you're this worked up about it, you should consider talking to your doctor about your anxiety.

Nobody ever uses hand sanitizer before holding my child.
This is what I said to people who rushed to sanitize their hands before holding DD in the hospital. Haha. I've never asked anyone to use hand sanitizer before holding her, nor have I ever used it myself!

Your LO is nearly two months old, which is past the point that people need to wash their hands before they touch him.
If this is what makes a Terrible Mom, my daughter is screwed.
