sex and nipple/breast questions? (tmi)

i been noticing that after me and DH have sex that when i go pee right after the sex that it burns a little this is the only time it feels like this, has anyone else experienced this if so is there something i need to do about it ?

also my right nipple started itching like crazy yesterday (i assume its cuz they are gettin dry) it was actually right above the nipple and i scratched til it almost was raw so i stopped and started puttin a ton of lotion on it to see if it helped it did some, but ive read that your not supposed to put lotion on your nippes or breast for breast feeding reasons(like it could affect the baby latching on etc.) so if i use it now will it affect the breastfeeding when i have the baby she's not due til oct! or is there some other kind of ointment/lotion stuff that i can put on my breast/nipples to help the dryness?

    I would think it would be ok to put lotion or hydrocordisone on now since baby isn't due until October.

    I think it's natural for it to burn a tiny bit occasionally.  You could have a mild UTI, but they check for this at every appointment so I wouldn't be too worried about it unless it gets worse.  When is your next appointment?

    I am assuming any change in my nips is normal...unless they fall off or something.  They have just started to be super sensitive, to the point where my night shirt + cool air - bra = super pull my hair out irritated nipples.  If I couldn't put lotion on them I would probably have cut them off.

    Your lady bits are more engorged with blood than normal which may mean more sensitivity and broken little vessels. I have had the same issue. 

    I've also got the nipple thing which I did NOT have with LO#1. WTH is that? It is so embarrassing when you are in public and just want to scratch the hell out of your chest. My GP recommended Lotrimin (sp?) powder in case there was a little summer fungus (lovely) on my skin.

    Try a lanolin cream.  Both Lansinoh and Medela make ones specifically for breastfeed.  It helps so much with dry or cracked nipples.  My Lacation Consultant recommended these when I had cracked nippled and was breastfeeding DD.  It will not interfer with breastfeeding (esp. if used now).

    I agree... and if you have extra in the tube after BFing you can use it as chapstick.  That's what I do and my lips are soooo happy!  :)
