It has taken me a week to gather the courage to come back to this site, but I wanted to give you an update for those who had been thinking of us.
Lily Grace was born on Father's Day after 25 hours of labor. She was 8.25 inches long and weighed a tiny but perfect 5.1 ounces. Her passing was due to the umbilical cord being wrapped tighly around her neck.
We were blessed to spend some time with her and made some precious memories. If you would like to see a slideshow of our time with her, it is posted on moodphotographyaz.com. Click on clients, password is karen. I'm sharing because she was so beautiful, and I want so much for all of you to take each moment of your pregnancy for what it is, a miracle. There are only pics of her tiny feet and hands, nothing disturbing, at least I hope it isn't.
Thank you so much those who prayed for us, and please enjoy your pregnancies and healthy babies as much as possible. I hope to see some exciting posts when I peek in again in November. Good luck to all of you.
Re: Update on Sad News Anatomy Scan...
I am so sorry for your loss.
Thank you for sharing the photos with us. They were beautifully done, and did bring tears to my eyes. But I was not only drawn to your daughter Lily, but also your family. I know they were just photos, but the bond you have seems so strong, and I hope you will all be able to find strength from each other during the difficult moments. All the best to you.
Oh, my gosh, you and your family are so beautiful.
I'm so sorry you had to experience this.

I am so, so incredibly sorry. My heart is breaking for you. Those pictures...wow...brought tears to my eyes.
Take care.

Karen,
I had been thinking of you recently and glad that you updated us. That was the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen. I am so sorry and can't imagine the pain your heart feels. As I wipe away the tears, I think of how strong and loving your family is - it certainly comes through in the photographs. Thank you for sharing and I will pray for your continued healing.
