  My LO never napped well until I started putting her in her bassinet for naps. She will nap in her carseat while in the car, but other than that she naps sooo much better in her bassinet. I would reccommend giving it a try!!

  DS napped on/with me for the first little while and then once I actually put him down for a nap away from me it was in his crib. That's how I started transitioning him for the nighttime too. He always naps great in his crib!

  I am terrified of the day I have to give up the swing for naps. I know I should start to work on that, but I just don't want to. I live by the motto "If it's working, do it"- when he hits the weight limit on the swing (which is soonish), it will no longer work and I will have to deal. Until then, Mama likes to use naptime to bump. DS also only naps for 30 minute increments.

  I've noticed that she is a crap napper no matter where I put her, so I'm slowly phasing out the RnP and my little lamb chair for naps.

  Does your LO nap in their crib?  K sleeps really well in her crib at night-10 to 12 hours with no trouble.  But I have yet to put her in her crib for a nap.  She sleeps in her swing.
  

  She slept in her bassinet until she was 3 months, and the transition was seamless.  Seemed like she never knew the difference. 

  Should I start to have her nap in her crib?  She is going to outgrow her swing before too long, so I feel like I should.  Other than her morning nap, which is 2-3 hours, she only naps for about 30 minutes a few times a day.  Do I just put her in her crib and see how it goes?
  

   

  Are you sire you aren't talking about B here? I feel like I wrote this exact thing, even down to being in his bassinet until 3 months. Even naps, good morning napper, crappy afternoon naps. I hope I'm not creating a monster with napping in his swing but I'm terrified to give up that morning nap.
