Hi everyone,

I just got my BFP last week - after a few months of trying. I have an 18 month old who is a treasure, and we are so hoping to give her a sibling. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in January, so it tooks us a while to get over that - both physically and emotionally.

I am really excited about this pregnancy, and just praying like mad that it is a healthy one. I go to the OB in 2 weeks to listen for a heartbeat. I'd appreciate any kind thoughts and prayers you can share with us. Hopefully I will be able to spend the next several months with you ladies.

Welcome and Congrats! I completely understand the praying for a happy and healthy pregnancy after a loss. If it helps you feel a little bit better, i recently read that 90% of women who have a m/c end up having completely healthy babies when the conceive the second time. I am holding on to that little statistic every time I start to panic a little about this little baby. Anyways, H&H 9 months to you!

Congratulations to you! I hope and pray for the very best for you this time around, as well. I am pregnant for the first time (5 weeks) and I am totally consumed with doing all I can to make sure this pregnancy goes well. It is so hard to realize that there is only so much in our control, and we really need to just allow nature to take it's course.
