Here's mine: DH and I made a deal when I was PG that when he gets off work he will takeover baby duty so I can go to the gym. I originally had no intention of working out at all, but this past month I have been the sole caretaker of LO since I BF and DH works around weapons in the military. He needs to get sleep so he can be fully aware. Plus I SAH so I can nap during the day, DH can't. Anyways yesterday I cashed in on my gym time just to get a mini vaca from baby duty. I sat in the sauna for 20 min, and did some cardio. I love my baby but I need a break too! It was amazing! I plan to do this every other day, if not everyday. Bonus: LO gave DH a hard time.

I bed share every single night. I've pretty much given up putting her in her crib or swing or anything to sleep. I need my sleep and when I bed share she sleeps through the night for the most part. She only wakes up once every four hours for just a few minutes in order to get a nipple in her mouth and then she's right back to sleep.
I will let her start to cry it out in about 3 months. So she'll be 5 months old. I don't want to bed share with a 1 year old.
I'm on the mini-pill. When DH and I have sex I make him pull out as well because I don't trust the mini. He didn't last night and I'm FREAKING OUT! If I end up pregnant on this stupid pill then I will maybe shoot him in the face.
I swore I would never call my child by a nickname and now she has two. I have no idea where they came from and they are pretty awful. "Munchkinbutt and Lovebug." I think I need an intervention.

Those are cute baby ones lol. My LO is called chicka and miss piggy (she snorts and eats a lot!)

His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!

Em is Fusser Butter when she's fussy. I hate nicknames... now she has a whole book worth!
- I have left my baby on the changing table to walk into the other room to get something
- I kept my baby in the same sleeper for over a day
- Sometimes when baby poops, I don't change her right away because I know she has more coming and is waiting for a fresh diaper to do it in
- I have fallen asleep on the couch with the baby in my arms
- I don't usually sterilize bottles, I just wash them in hot soapy water
- Baby sleeps in her crib, and I still have bumpers on the back and sides.
That's all I've got so far
um, yep, I've done all the same...I even let my dogs lick DS. I've also already let my parents keep DS over night. Granted I was in the same house, but they put DS in their room for 1 night so I could get some sleep. It was nice not being woke up every 3 hours. I plan on doing that again next weekend when we go back to visit.
and as far as nick names go, DS's name is Wesley. Nobody calls him Wes as a nickname, but he has a ton: little man, little bud, squeaker (he sounds like a freakin bird!) and mini fathead (DH's nn is fathead, and DS looks just like him lol)
my own FFFC: I've been faking sleep, as in, acting like DS isn't waking me up, once at night so DH will have to get up with him. I get up at midnight, DH gets up at 3 (cause "I just didnt hear him crying"), and then I get back up at 6. I felt bad about it the first time I did it; not anymore.
I swore I would never call my child by a nickname and now she has two. I have no idea where they came from and they are pretty awful. "Munchkinbutt and Lovebug." I think I need an intervention.
I call my DS Scoob or Scoobert, as in Scooby Doo. I have no idea where it came from, it just happened.
My kids have a million nicknames, but I can't stand when others call them nicknames, especially my MIL!! Frankly my MIL is on my nerves all together. She was over the other night and DD gave her a smile, and I said she started smiling lately, and my MIL said well, she started smiling like 3 weeks ago for me, remember? Ah, no she didn't! First of all I find it hard to believe that my 2 week old baby smiled for you, and even if she did, before I saw a smile, don't freaking brag about it to me! Maybe that's me being selfish, but my MIL seems to rub it in...needless to say, I counted the first smile I saw as the first smile!
And from that list from PP, I pretty much do all that too, so glad someone else admited to that stuff too!
And b/c DH has been getting on my nerves by not helping much, I make him take DS up to bed every night and I stay downstairs to feed the baby. But, when she is done eating, and I can still hear DS is awake (in our bed) I stay down stairs and watch TV just holding the baby. I really don't feel like putting up the fight of getting DS to bed! I hope that doesn't make me a bad mom!

I typically don't put clothes on LO unless we're going out. This way, if he throws up (he has reflux) I don't have to do more laundry. MH calls him "Mr. Nude" because of this. I swear he does seem more cranky when he has clothes on him.
LO's favorite blanket is a Terry Cloth shop rag. I used it one day for a burp rag and he cuddled up to it and slept the best with it, so I tried giving it to him one night when he was having trouble sleeping and he knocked right out. I use it daily now. My baby's "blankie" is a shop cloth.

Kaitlin sleeps in bed with me. The other night the whole family was piled in our bed. There was a storm and Ankaret was scared of the thunder. Luckily we have a king size.
I don't change Kaitlin's diaper at night unless she has a blow out. If we get up she wakes for a few hours and I just don't want to deal with that.
DH and I have a deal...he gets snipped and I get my "bikini zone" hair permanently removed, but I'm wondering if i might want just one more babe.

I leave a burp cloth under her head if its going to wake her up to move it when I put her back in the PNP at night.
I've fallen asleep when she's feeding at night and only woke up because she pulled off my nipple hard. And more than once I just let us both continue sleeping as is because I didn't want to get up.
I don't always strap her in the swing. She can't move enough to get out of it right now anyway.
I don't think I'd make a good SAHM. I go out and run errands most days because I'm so used to working I need to get out of the house.

I adore my children and I love being a mommy but I am at my wits end this week with them. Alynn has been princess fussy pants and wanting to eat every 2 hours 24/7 and Drew has refused to take a nap all week which means he throws massive tantrums and is just a pill. Most of the time I would be able to handle it but going on 3 hours of sleep isn't cutting it and I find myself losing my patience more and more with Drew which makes me so sad. It's not really his fault. Yesterday it was so bad that I just wanted to run away. I had to step out side just to cool off. This is so not like me. And to make it even worst, Nayt doesn't have another day off until Wen. of next week. If something doesn't give soon, I am going to end up in the looney bin!!
Also, I had a bowl of ice cream for lunch. I NEEDED chocolate.

There's a siggy picture of a baby on 0-3 that freaks me out. I look at it and it reminds me of the pictures you see of sexy men coming out of the bath or water. Like this:
I HATE my SIL. She has a baby who is a couple months older than my son, and I love that little girl. I am always saying how cute she is, etc. My SIL acts like my son doesn't exist. The only thing she has said about him, is "He has bags under his eyes." WTF? (He was 2 weeks old when she said that!)
I don't know what the hell her problem is, but I am about to snap on her. I don't like to go to family functions because of her.

This is like me! I have a 3 year old DD and she has been acting crazy lately! Last week I was feeding my DS and when I came out of my room I walked into my kitchen to see that my DD had spray painted it, and when I went to see if there was any damage in her room I found that she had poured my laundry detergent all over her floor. She also has such a terrible attitude lately that it makes me want to grab a bottle of wine, some sort of junk food and just hide in my room. I am losing my patience so fast lately and I hate getting so frustrated with her! I'm just always exhausted and her bad attitude makes functioning that much harder.

I'm curious if you ladies that leave your babies unattended on the changing table while you wander around your house will be back here asking for prayers and positive thoughts when your LO falls off and fractures their skull, breaks a bone or worse?
Why would you even think that is a good idea? Newsflash..Your baby isn't going to give you a heads up on when he/she plans on mastering the skill of rolling over.
This reminds me of the stupid PSA posted by someone either on this board or the 0-3 board about staying with your newborn at all times while giving them a bath. This particular braniac decided to pay attention to her dog for a "split second" and when she looked back her kid was blowing bubbles. . .
Further proof that just because you CAN breed, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

PS- FFFC Someone defined what it means a few posts up. Wait until tomorrow to give someone sh*t.
I haven't had a chance to confess for about a month, so I have a few.
I was terrified for my first poo after the baby. I expected WWII down there and it was actually a walk in the park.
I also had my husband get me some depends for the first few days home from the hospital. The mesh undies were great, but the pads the size of my college text books were not. They were the best purchase I made! I didn't have to wear a pad the size of a college textbook or worry about leaking out of the regular maxi pad. Plus they still stayed up when I put an ice pack in them. My underwear sure didn't.
Our baby has been sleeping in our bed since we got home. She only sleeps for like a half hour at a time in the PnP, but we get 4-5 hours in our bed. She naps in her crib just fine too. I just think she doesn't like the PnP much.
I also wish she would take a binkie better. She hardly ever takes it and if she does, it isn't for very long. She loves having my boobie in her mouth to soothe herself though.

I am pretty sure I know which one you are talking about and I have to agree! It always trips me out, and your description fits spot on! lol
Re: FFFC!
I had sex before my 6 week check up.
Granted OB told me if I felt up to it go and it didn't hurt go for it. It was so much better than pre-pregnancy and pregnant sex.

PS- FFFC
Someone defined what it means a few posts up.
It always trips me out, and your description fits spot on! lol
