I was bummed to miss it last year. I don't think I can offer to host, but assuming it's a date I can make it I'd be happy to help out if someone else steps up.
It sounds fun! I could host, but I'm in Lake Stevens (aka Canada) and not sure many people want to travel that far north. If people are willing though, I could do it.
Can we also please have a Nutella tasting at the GTG? I still haven't had it!

This is me too. I think its too far north for us to host, but I can help too if someone else wants to.

Lake Stevens isn't really that far. No matter where I go for these I have to take a ferry so the drive doesn't bother me at all. Plus there is always carpooling.
I think somewhere centrally located would be great. There are quite a few of us down South and Lake Stevens is close to an hour and a half away from Lakewood/Puyallup/Tacoma.
Who has the most centrally located house? I live in a small apartment, and there is no way 50 bumpies and their babies are going to fit up in this joint. I want to come though. I missed it last year too!

I'm pretty north, too, and plus my house is a zoo so the cat and/or dog allergic crew might not enjoy it to well. But I am excited to attend, this time with an outside baby (I think I was 38 or 39 weeks pregnant last time and was lumbering like an elephant. But I still had a blast!)
I understand about the LS thing. Could we do somewhere in Seattle? Magnusun Park has some nice areas... So does Golden Gardens! What are people thinking?
I think Magnuson is a great idea. There is a huge, free parking lot and a picnic shelter right next to the playground. The only tricky part would be finding an open reservation date, I think - but if not, there's plenty of grass to spread blankets out on!

I PPH Bumpie GTGs!
Honestly, unless someone in Seattle (or nearby east side) offers to host, I think our best two options are:
1. Use grounds at a park, as was suggested by PPs. Magnuson is a great suggestion because it's huge and is pretty easy to get to off the highway; or
2. Possibly plan separate north and south GTGs.
It's nearly impossible to get it in exactly the right place so that everyone feels good about it, you know?
Just thinking out loud.

I second this!
