rough week

As I have said before, I'm a teacher and basketball coach. I have 4 away games this week, Monday through Thursday, which means I won't be getting home until around 9pm. So I won't see Gunner from 7am until 9pm. I have been away that long before for one day, but never 4 days in a row. I'm dreading it and already missing him. I can't wait til this week is done.

No point to this, just wanted to share how I'm feeling.

I feel your pain. I have my first night away from LO this week. Work trip to Dallas... I won't see her from Thursday 7am until Friday 9pm. I wasn't supposed to come back until Saturday, but I ended up booking a Friday night flight instead because I'm already freaking out about one night away. Oh well, I'm calling it daddy/daughter bonding time.

Basketball is done on the 27th. It's middle school bball so at least the season is pretty short. I'm hoping this week flies by too! I'm trying to look forward to next weekend. We are flying to California to see my little brother graduate from the Marines. I am even missing a couple of games for it.

I would be freaking out too! Seriously, I'd be afraid my husband wouldn't wake up to feed him or something. Even though I'm sure that would never happen. A night away would be no fun. I hope it goes by fast for you.
