If your baby room is on a different level than your living room, will you have a rocker in the baby room and the living room? We live in a 2 story condo (with bedrooms upstairs) We obviously plan to put a rocker in the baby room, but would it be beneficial to have one downstairs in the living room as well? I am clueless what is needed. Would we really need 2 chairs?

I got two rocker/recliners and I use the heck out of both of them. One in the living room and one in the nursery. My DS is 1 and I still use the one in the nursery at night if he wakes up.
I plan on getting another one (hopefully if $ allows it) so I can keep the one in DS's room and have another one in the nursery.
We have a rocker/glider in DS's room upstairs that I really only used at night until he figured out how to kick the armrest while nursing (about 5 mos. or so). After that, I nursed him in the twin bed that we have in his room. It will be going into the new nursery as it doesn't get used now.
We have a rocking recliner downstairs in our living room that I used a lot, especially for napping (he wouldn't nap in his crib until 6 mos.). I still use it with him a couple times a week if he wakes up early from a nap and we sit and rock and he usually falls back asleep.
It was also wonderful for napping in towards the end of my pregnancy with DS when I had bad heart burn.
