I ended up calling my m/w practice this morning...not sure if I would have for the spotting alone (though it continued, and the passing of tissue (brown) was concerning), but I also was really dizzy this morning. I experienced it when I first sat up in bed and then got up and walked around, and then when I laid down again. And so on and so forth all morning. As long as I'm upright I'm fine.
I never even thought of it being the fact that I was lying on my back (pressure on vena cava) - I thought that was only an issue later in pregnancy, but that's the explanation I was given at the midwives and it makes sense to me! I feel so much better... Cal had come into our bed early this morning and after we all fell back asleep I was rudely awakened by him whacking me in the eye with his foot. So, when the dizziness first happened I thought for sure he did some damage to my eye/head! Heard the h/b...all's well. Spotting just must be old blood.
