TTC After a Loss

No breast pain/tenderness since loss

Hi Ladies,

I am hoping someone here has experienced similar. Before PG I always had intense and horrible breast pain and tenderness prior to AF. I am just a day or two away from my second AF post m/c and don't have an ounce of boobie pain, not a drop, which yeah, feels nice but kind of worries me that my horomones are still a little out of whack. Anybody got anything on this? Google hasn't given me much...

  • This!  I am the same way.  I was wondering if the boobie pain was so intense during pg that my body doesn't register anything pain less, lol.  But I do know that I am having issues ovulating.  I didn't even correlate the two.  Thanks for asking.  I'm interested to see what others have to say!

  • I am sorry for your worry.

Basically, your cycle can be super wonky and fine off and on in the 6 months after your loss.  You could have 2 normal periods, and then an abnormal, and then go right back to normal.  So, yes, it is possible they are still out of whack, but nothing to worry about.  I would go ahead and call your Dr. for reassurance though.

My hormones were a little screwy as well and I got KU the third month regardless.  The doctor said the hormone wonkiness had nothing to do with the loss, so don't worry about the fact that I had another loss deter you from trying again, if you are ready!

    Good Luck to you!

  • No. I have had some. I had my first AF the week before last. All I've noticed through all this is my body is like an f'ing circus. I wouldn't rule out any ach or pain nor would i rule out the abscence of..

  • No boobie pain here since my loss.  Weirdly, I never really had it throughout my life as a PMS symptom...once in a while, but hardly ever.  As soon as I started TTC, they hurt every month until my BFP.  Now, nothing.  Eh, who knows.  Weirdo bodies.

  • I had awful pain with PMS prior to my most recent loss.  While I was pg, my breasts were sore non stop from conception until I delivered at 20 wks and for about 2 weeks after due to engorgement.  I had absolutely no pain or pms symptoms prior to my first AF after this loss.

  • Mine used to hurt just before af showed up, after my first loss they stopped. After the second loss it happens rarely.

  • Can't help here.  I had never had breast tenderness, not even during AF, until about 8 weeks into my pregnancy.  In fact, I had pretty much concluded that my boobs were too big to feel anything.
