I don't know if I'm still pregnant

I'm not reallyl sure what to think. This moring I woke up and felt fine. My boobs aren't as sore as they once were and I didn't really have my morning nausea.

How to do I call my OB and say, "Ummm, I'm not sure I'm still pregnant?" I know they are going to ask if I was bleeding or cramping and I am not.

I never had m/s and I didn't last time. I guess I could take a test but is that really any good? I guess I will wait and see what happens?

  • Anardi dont put much thought into all of this. Symptoms come and go. You just might be one of the lucky ladies that your body/placenta takes over faster. Im hoping you are all kinds of wrong.

  • I'm certainly no expert as this is my first pregnancy, but I think the symptoms can really come and go... I've had days where my boobs hurt badly all day and then nothing the next day (same with the nausea).  Take a test if you want some reassurance, but I wouldn't worry.  I'm sure everything is just fine- especially since you haven't had any cramping/bleeding.  Enjoy a possibly symptom-free day!

  • You could just be having a great day.  On of my close friends had a similar day and then was right back to nausea and horrid m/s the next day. One week she had 2 or 3 good days in a row. I think you're fine.

FWIW, when I miscarried last time, I still had huge extremely sore boobs even after my D&C.  It takes a while for your hormone levels to drop, it doesn't happen over night.  Try to stay calm and be thankful that you're having a great day! :)

  • I know its hard but try not to stress over it. I've had days where I feel 100% fine and then the next day I feel like crap again, Be grateful that you are having a good day and do things that you wouldnt be able to do otherwise. Usually signs of a miscarraige include bleeding and cramping. As long as you dont have those symptoms I wouldnt worry about it, otherwise you will drive yourself crazy wondering. Good luck and I hope that everthing is ok.

  • I have definitely had days like that. If you are truly concerned you could call your doctor and see what they say.

Along the same lines as the previous post, I continued to have symptoms even after my last pregnancy stopped progressing, and even for a while after my miscarriage. Also, pregnancy tests will still show up as positive for a while after miscarriage. My point is not to bother testing unless you think it will make you feel better to see the lines.

Symptoms come and go and I have seen TONS of posts on thebump about people just not feeling pregnant. But seriously, call your doctor if you truly have a bad feeling about it. I'm sure they have received that same call many times!!

Not that I wish morning sickness or sore boobs on you, but I hope that you'll be back to feeling pregnant soon!! Just remember- right now you don't have ANY reason to think there is something wrong! No cramping, no bleeding, nothing!

  • I totally know how you feel.  I have some days that are super hard, and then other days where I'm super high energy, and feel great. It makes me wonder to feel so good.   I just keep convincing myself that it's normal, and the nauseous feeling always comes back :)

  • Hang in there! It is normal to feel that way! Do you have an appt coming up soon? Don't waste money on another test - they can still come out positive even if you m/c so that really won't reassure you. I can tell you I think almost everyone feels the way you do at one point or another. :)

I haven't had an appt yet - my first appt is July 6th - probably another reason I am driving myself crazy bc I know nothing.

Thanks, girls! I will see how the next couple of days go!

  • i agree with the pp, hang in there and try not to read too much into it.  symptoms come and go.  my m/s is a lot better today than it has been the last few days (knock on wood)!

  • I wouldn't jump to conclusion. Maybe you're just having a great day today. My symptoms come and go daily.

  • Ditto what everyone else said, I have days where I wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck, and days (like today) where I wake up feeling great. Hoping everything is fine with your baby!

  • As PP have said, symptoms do come and go. See if your doctor's office could have you go in any earlier for an early u/s to give you some peace of mind. Please don't worry yourself sick. Take care of yourself.
