My DD who was diagnosed with reflux at about 6 weeks now has a milk intolerance. Pedi said I could move to special formula or go dairy/ soy free. I am trying to change my diet first since I have EBF from the start. Any words of wisdom? Anything I should be asking the pedi? This will be interesting!

Re: New here :)
welcome
going milk and soy free is not impossible. Hard but not impossible! Google MSPI recipes (milk soy protein intolerance). and you will find many great ideas. My DS is allergic to milk/soy/eggs/nuts and i did the diet and was able to BF him until he was 13 months old.
Some tips -get use to reading labels. Even after you know the product is safe, keep reading the labels every time you buy the products -labels change.
Cook at home.
Get a crock pot
experiment recipes..
I went from ordering out every single night. I think i only had one cooking pot! to cooking every single night. Most of the time 3 different meals (one for DH -he eats mat. One for me -i don't eat meat. One for DS w/ food allergies ---but all 3 meals were safe to eat for DS so he always has the option to eat from our plates).
this helped me a lot
Also, get dayia cheese (sold at health food stores) it is cheese that is non-dairy and non-soy. It's rice cheese and it melts. it's pretty good and i make mac&cheese out of it for my son all the time and i looooove eating it myself.
get "SO Delicious" ice cream and yogurts. it's made from coconut milk -YUUUMY!
also i have a bunch of products on my log that are soy/milk free...
