So I have manged to make it 32 years without a sprain or a fracture or a break and while I am in my 2WW I managed to take my dog out and wrench my ankle/foot in a hole in the ground. Earned myself a trip to Urgent Care where I got to announce that I was TTC and don't know if I am KU yet so no xray and no good pain pills. But I have the sexiest walking cast ever - too bad this isnt my fertile week because with this gimp there is no way DH could keep his hands off. Oh the fun. That and now my tetnus is up to date for the gorgeous blazing red scratch down my leg. Woot Woot - I rock.
Re: Announcing TTC to Urgent Care - fun vent.
Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! Is it still too early for them to have done a blood test to check if you're KU? I work in a hospital lab, and every woman "of childbearing age" gets a blood HCG before any radiology work.
And that's not a red scratch... call it a racing stripe!
