TTC After a Loss

"Heaven is for Real"

**I am not trying to push my beliefs or faith on anyone, I just wanted to share this as something that touched my heart and motivated my spirit.  I wanted to share this with other who may share the same faith/ beliefs that I do.**

Have any of you read this book?  I actually started reading it within hours of finding out I was having another m/c.  When I was reading chapter 17 "Two Sisters," I lost it.

A little back story- this little boy whom the book is centered on, shares with his family over a period of time, his trip to Heaven and back during an emergency  appendectomy.  Throughout the story, he details what Heaven looks like and whom he has met.

Back to chapter 17- he shares in detail how he met his sister in Heaven who does not yet have a name.  His sister was the baby his parents had lost at 2 months (m/c.)

While I may have bawled my eyes out reading this, it also gave me an overwhelming sense of peace, that our babies are with our Savior.

  • It's on my Nook library... I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I also put it on the Book Clubs poll a few times, but it never won. Maybe i'll try it again this time and see what happens.

I've always wanted to participate in the book club but I feel like when I know I need to read something by a certain time, I can't get it done for some reason!  This book is a quick and easy read, just a couple sittings for 2 hours or so each time.

  • The funeral home actually gave us a copy after we lost Isaac. I too loved reading it and it brought me some comfort. I can't wait to be reunited with him in heaven!!!
