2nd time mommies?

Hey y'all, i'm a returning bumper because i'm growing a bump again. It's new but I'm flipping crazy with excitment. Trying not to tell anyone though because, yeah only 4wks.

CRAZY tired with an 18 month old and full time job, but loving it... just wanted to see if any others were out there~

  • Crazy tired is about dead on. FT work and FT mom are exhausting - the bad thing is, I get my second wind around 9pm and then I'm up until 11pm. Which would be fine, but the getting up to pee at 5am and not gonig back to sleep until the alarm goes off causes more problems.

I'm close to 8 weeks and I look like I did at 20 last time!

  • I'm right there with you! My baby is older (as you can see) and take care of most things himself, but I'm soooo over exhausted. I work full time and I'm in school too. I'm soooo tired. All. The. Time. Here's to hoping 2nd tri is better!

ME TOO! I haven't told anyone at work yet, but it's getting pretty obvious... or I just look fat!

  • I am! I thought I was tired with my last pregnancy but this one is already turning out to be exhausting. DS is 20 months and keeps me on my toes. And I also have a FT job.

    Welcome back!

  • This is my 2nd pregnancy as well! I have a 20 month old and am 4 weeks. I'm a stay at home mom, but stay pretty busy. I made the mistake of nesting yesterday...All. Day. Long. I decided I needed to do all of the lingering projects in my home in one day. Whoops.

I'm definitely paying for it today. I also woke up at 3:30am to go to the bathroom and couldn't go back to sleep.

I wouldn't really recommend this. lol.

  • Welcome back to the bump boards! I am a third time mom.  I also work full time and have the added fun of two little boys on the autism spectrum.  My two year old also has a sleep disorder, so I luckily (HA!) am so sleep deprived already that being tired doesn't even phase me this time around.  I am enjoying not having as much m/s this time around, by this time with my second I was puking 6-8 times a day.  Fingers crossed that the mild nausea stays as is and the puking never comes!

    Oh this is SO me!

I'm exhausted all day at work and come home to a 9 month old who is very into exploring.  Still don't know how far along I am, but its probably about 6 weeks.  I agree I started wearing a jacket every day to work, I tell everyone its because the air conditioning is too high.... really I'm just looking a little rounder than usual.

  • My son just turned 3 and I think I'm 6 weeks today but the ticker in my siggy is based on my LMP.  I work from home though so that helps but the nausea isn't too bad yet.  With my son I had hypermesis and a Zofran pump and I am so scared of having that again.  And I really just want to poop.  That seems to be my focus.  I've eaten about 10 prunes today and really would just love to poop.  DS pooped when he came home (he's PT thank goodness) and I was so jealous I high-fived him.

I am with you on the pooping.  Except I finally did today, and I feel like a million bucks.  We'll see if I can pull this off 2 days in a row :-/

And yes, 2nd time Mom here too.  DS has been asking for a baby for a few weeks now.  Hopefully he'll get his wish, and won't be too disappointed that we can't give s/he back when it gets here!

  • I had my first wave of total exhaustion today. Luckily LO took a good long nap so I could as well. I don't know how I will handle it if I get as tired this time as I did last time!

  • I'm a second time Mommy, but my daughter is 10 years old and sometimes I feel like it's been so long that I'm starting all over. I'm a SAHM and DD is on summer vacation, plus she's older and a big help to anything I need so I feel I have it easy for now.
