Fourth of July pregnancy announcement?

If I am pregnant we'd like to announce the pregnancy to our family on July 4th. Since you ladies may have done this last year, anyone have any cute ideas of how to tell them???

    We got our BFP last 4th of July.We just told our parents...didn't do anything cute, though that might've been fun! Just wanted to comment and tell you good luck, because it was such a special day for me last year!

    Thanks!! with our 1st we found out on Christmas morning at 6 am. We told my parents and sisters, it was amazing. Now that we are living in Houston where DH's family is we would tell his parents and brother 1st. Fingers crossed!! We can't wait for baby #2 :) Congrats on your little one, being a mommy is the best!

    Gather the family together to take a family picture and right as the camera is about to take the shot, make the announcement. Then you capture everyone's reaction to your news :)

    We did this for DD and loved it! It is the first page of her scrapbook and I love having everyone's reaction to the news for her to see in  the years to come.

    To make it more 4th of july ish, perhaps give everyone a sparkler!

    That was when we also got our BFP, we did not do anything special but announced it at the family part which was fun with everone there at once. Congratulations to you guysSmile
