Fun idea for 2nd-timers (& 3rd, etc)

At our appointment last week, the midwife suggested we record the heartbeat on DH's phone (just held it next to the doppler to record) & have it put into a build-a-bear for DD so she'll have a little friend with baby's heartbeat inside. Definitely planning to do this - she's going to love it!

How fantastic! This is a must do!!!! I had a Mama Bear with #1 that simulated the womb sounds, but this is really cool!!!!

My doctor has the sound piece from build a bear in their office and they give it to you with the anatomy scan. I have also heard you can pick them up at build a bear to take to your appointment. My doctor says its good because the baby can then hear your womb after it is born. But it is def cute to give to another child also!!!
