Tell me about your jogging stroller.

DH and I are going to start running again with a 5k due up in August. I want to get a jogger so if anyone loves/hates theirs, let me know why. I will buy a BOB if they are that much better, but would love a cheaper option if you've got one you like.

I had a baby jogger city classic which is like the elite. It was ok, but not a true jogger.

I got the bob revolution and am in love with it. One thing I've noticed about cheaper jogging strollers is that the sunshades are crap/pretty much nonexistent.

I got mine on sale b/c it was a 2010 and the 2011s were coming out. I've also seen them pretty often on craigslist.

I have a baby trend velocity.

I like it better than SIL's BOB.

I love that it has a built in pedometer and also a HUGE basket underneath.

We got a BabyTrend Expedition off of CL for $60. It's...ok. The newer versions have a swivel wheel in the front, which I think makes it easier to maneuver. I've only run with it a couple times and the non-swiveling wheel makes it difficult for me. I've been told that some people like that though. It's probably a lot heavier than the BOB or BabyJoggers too.

I have the Baby Trend Expedition from Target. I got it as a gift and i love it. It is simple, inexpensive and I love it.

I don't have an experiences with the BOB so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I love the stroller and it is great for jogging or even walking around the mall or zoo.

PS- I think it was about $110

I have the BOB Revolution and I LOVE it. I was able to get last year's model on Amazon (plus I have Amazon Mom, so free shipping) at a much lower price than this year's model.

I had the Baby Trend Jogger, I borrowed it from a friend, and did not like it. If you don't lock out the front wheel it shutters, even when just going slow, and when you do lock out the front wheel (which I know you are SUPPOSED to when jogging) you can not steer the thing at all. I do not need to lock out the BOB's wheel (even though, again, I know you are supposed to, but I just don't run fast enough for it to really matter) and the thing steers like a dream. It is way way better quality, a much smoother ride and more comfortable for baby. Willa always looked like she was going to slide right out of the Baby Trend seat - she was like hanging on the straps because the seat seemed slanted for some reason.

Anyway,in my opinion the BOB is worth the extra $ for sure!

Good idea on CL Robin, I just checked and there are a bunch of BOB's on there. If I like them it may be the way to go.

I run almost every day and have a Bob. It is wonderful and couldn't imagine using any other stroller. It was well worth every penny. Maybe you could find a gently used Bob on Craigslist. In my opinion, they are well worth the money.
