Obgyn order SA?

Has anyones obgyn ordered a SA? Or is this an RE thing?
TTC since 10.07~Diagnosed with PCOS 08.08~4 rounds of clomid=BFN~Took a break from meds... Surprise BFP 03.29.09~ Natural m/c 04.06.09~50mg clomid & progesterone 06.09=BFN


Adoption made our wish come true 12.21.11~JEC 11.10.10

Surprise BFP on 03.26.16! EDD 11.28.16

    That was one of the first tests my gyno ordered, along with CD3 bloodwork and an HSG.

    Beta#1 (9/14) 14dp5dt = 1309 Beta#2 (9/19) 19dp5dt = 7557!! 1st U/S (9/28) 1 Beautiful Heartbeat! 8 Weeks 2 Days 2nd U/S (10/9) Heartrate=184!!! EDD: 5/19/13

    Yep, she can do it or your Hs PCP can as well.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I had a post cotiel (sp?) test with my OBGYN and it showed that there was not much sperm so then he ordered the SA - once the SA came back low on all counts he referred us to an RE.

    Any dr. can order an SA. My ob/gyn ordered the first one for DH.

    Yes.....my OB/GYN ordered the SA for my DH.

    Thanks ladies. I guess I had better start asking questions. My obgyn hasn't even mentioned it!
