Ha! Bossman is getting nervous

I just had to call over to bossman's desk for something..used the phone.  He immediately thought that I was about to have the baby and was in labor.  Ha!! 

I told him if that was the case he probably would have heard a loud scream come from my desk..not a polite call over the phone Stick out tongue

I think he got nervous because we talked yesterday about me working from home starting Dec 1.  Work is just over an hour from the hospital, where as home is 5 min.  He was more than OK with me being close to the hospital in the last two weeks.

    Mine says he's nervous every morning that I won't be here.  We're taking bets as to whether or not I'll be here for November close.  I'm an accountant and we're getting the books closed on 12/5.  I'm due 12/7.  We'll see.

    LOL - yup, the folks in my office are getting nervous too. ?My office manager asked me yesterday if I was all set if I went into labor tomorrow. ?She then set up for our office?assistant?to get with me on Friday so I can have him file all the stuff in my office and clean it up for me. =P

    I bet! All he can think of are probably movie births where the woman goes from zero to water-breaking, head-crowning, shrieking labor in 2 seconds. Glad you can work from home - that's awesome. 

    DH is the one currently working in an office and every time his cell phone rings, his co-workers stick their heads into his office and ask, "Is it time??"

    Happily, he has an excellent sense of humor about this.

    My boss is totally nervous - this is the first time someone in our office is pg - so I know he doesn't know what to do! ?He is doing his best to appear calm but I know he is worried about the time I will be out and how the office will run without me here. ?Flattering - yes. ?And funny to see him freaking out on the inside!
