DS drools like crazy and sometimes spits up. Once in a while I will put him down for a nap with a bib on to save his outfit in case he spits up. I was just thinking that if the bib flipped up it could cover his little mouth and nose, and I freaked thinking how could I not have though that before. I never read anything about not putting DC down with a bib, maybe its just common sense? Does anyone else do this, or not ?

Something to think about:
MIL put him down for the night with a bib on and I kept hearing this weird sound over the intercom. Bib had moved around to his back and he kept trying to move to the corner of the crib, everytime he pushed with his legs he gagged himself. Luckily I checked on him right away. I didn't even know she had put a bib on him...it was awful. So now everyone knows not to leave a bib on him when he sleeps.
