Babies: 6 - 9 Months

why won't she sleep anymore?

I'm sure no one is around right now but Katy just won't sleep anymore and I'm so frustrated. She hasn't slept more then an hour or two for like a month now. I don't know what's going on with her. I can not get her to nap during the day lately too. What happened to my good sleeper?? I'M sure it's just a phase but I'm frustrated and tired and thought I'd just put it out there. Blah :(

  • I'm up with Mac wondering the same thing right now. I hope it's a (short) phase. Tonight is the first time I couldn't get him back to sleep. Instead, he's crawling around our bed.

  • You're not alone. V has not been sleeping either, in the third week now. Can't take this too much longer...
  • Is she teething?  I just got Scar STTN 2 days ago.  I realized she was waking up because she was hungry.  I was having a hard time getting her to finish her bottles, so she would wake up to eat.  Now that she has been drinking all her bottles during the day she has been STTN.

  • Mine didn't want to GO to bed - she was up 2hours past bedtime(9:30 she finally caved) and napped all of an hour yesterday. Thankfully she slept til 5am, or I may have lost my shitz. After a bottle and subsequent projectile vomit, she's sleeping on me.

  • We did this exact thing for about a month.  LO has gotten back to his regular schedule 3 days ago.  *Knocks on wood* Hope that he continues.  Hang in there mommas.  It'll be over soon.

  • Cherry, I feel your pain. We were like that for a solid 2 months. I'd almost see every hour. Something clicked a few nights ago, and Grant has only been up twice since then. I hope things get better for you, I know how tiring and stressful it can be!

That's exactly what she was doing. Just crawling around crying. I got her back to sleep but then she was up two more times after that.

maybe she's teething. She doesn't have any yet. I don't know how she could be hungry. Maybe I'll try to stuff her full today.

  • Well, I'm here with you.  We are going on almost on month now too of hourly waking.  We've had 2 nights where she did 4, 4, and 4 hours.  I thought she was teething, but no teeth yet.  She is now kind of stuffy so I wonder if she has a cold.  IDK, but I've been pretty good on no sleep for 7 months, but at least I was getting a few hours at a time.  We were up last night, 8, 10, 11, 1, 330-5 and then up at 6.  Blah.  We tried in the crib to see if that was better than our bed for a little over a week and it is even worse.  She is super clingy and whiny the last week, which is not normal so I'm wondering what happened to my super happy baby :(
