***ithadtobeyou and/or GHM***

I just read your responses to my round ligament pain post from last night.  You both mentioned it might be in the pubic symphasis (or however you spell that).  I agree, I really don't think it is RL since it is so low and feels like it's in the front in the bone.

What does a chiropractor do to help?  I just imagine him/her pushing around on my crotch LOL.

  • They will do a full assessment. My back and hips were so way off, it was affecting the symphasis. It was way misaligned, too. He did feel the bones (with another female in the room), and it really wasn't uncomfortable. For the adjustment, he uses a tool that's kinda like a pen with a hammer (okay, not at all...just don't know how to describe it). The first adjustment was VERY painful, but it hasn't been bad after that, and it's actually looking really good. I find that the adjustments for my back and hips help my pelvic pain, too.
