Ever since we took our childbirth class over the weekend, he wants the baby here NOW! His birthday was on Tuesday and when I asked him where he wanted to have dinner, he said "the hospital cafeteria". He talks to my belly all the time and tells the baby that s/he should hurry up and come out. I still have a million things to do before baby gets here, and am perfectly content to let him/her bake until s/he is ready to come out. Does anyone else's DH have ants in their pants?
On a side note, every time he says something about wanting the baby right now (which is ALOT) I remind him that what got it in there will help get it out, all he has to do is have sex with me :P He has turned me down every time....
ETA: Good googly moggly I can't type lately.. so many typos....
Re: I think my DH is more excited than I am
MH went with me to my 36 wk apt yesterday since he happened to have the day off. It's only the 3rd apt he's been to with me and in the waiting room he said "can't they just take the baby out now?"
Why is your silly H turning you down? Is he afraid of hurting LO or something?
It creeps him out that sex can help get things going with labor, I have no idea why. He was trying to have sex with me all the time before I told him that.
That's cute.
I love when DH gets all excited about the baby's impending arrival. It feels nice.

My DH is giving pep talks to my belly, it's so cute. "It's getting pretty cramped in there, huh? There's plenty of space out here! Why don't you come out and enjoy it!" And the like. We have extra incentive to want him out soon though, as they want to induce/section me at 39w due to his size, so we are really hoping he comes on his own before then!
I've been getting turned down on the sex front as well, it stinks. It doesn't help matters that DH and I work opposite schedules too.
