I was totally excited and couldn't wait with number one, but it's SOOOO different this time. Not sure why.

Just curious when everyone else is doing this stuff

Telling Family? We are telling DH's family at the 4th of July get together. We will tell my family at my Dad's bday party the first weekend of August. We wanted to do it all in person.

Telling Friends? We have told about 4 close friends that we are expecting. Everyone else will probably be around 10 weeks.

Seeing your doctor/midwife? I had my first appointment today (my dr calls is a confirmation appointment). My first full appointment is scheduled for 9 weeks.

Telling Family? Parents and siblings already know. So undecided about the extended family. It's common to tell right away in our families so I think we probably will. Plus we're going up north on the lake with my whole extended family in a couple of weeks and I will be the ONLY one not drinking! They'll know.

Telling Friends? Hopefully we can wait until after our first u/s on July 11th

Seeing your doctor/midwife? July 11th. I will have had 2 phone appointments by then though. I'm getting bloodwork on Saturday

Already told parents because they would catch on fast due to m/s. If all is well after my ultrasound tomorrow, we will likely tell the inlaws then.

Telling Friends?

Will tell my close friends this weekend *hopefully*. Will tell everyone else in a few weeks.

Telling Family? We have told my immediate family already but will wait to tell DH's family until we are back stateside, hit about 12 weeks AND he has told his 15 year old daughter. We are not very confident that she will take the news very well so fingers crossed on that front.

Telling Friends? I have told a few close friends here and there but may never do a major reveal on FB or anything like that. Just not my style.

Seeing your doctor/midwife? Saw the embassy doctor here but won't get a chance to see my midwife until July 18th - once we are back stateside. (Anyone sensing a theme here?)

We have family on both sides of the state and we live between them, so I told my parents last week since I dunno when I'd see them in person again. Telling DH's family soon, I think. Whenever we physically see them next.

A few friends know already, but were told to keep quiet. Coworkers and managers know cuz I have a physical job.

Got my dr sppt moved up from July 6 to June 30th cuz my work is being weird about me doing less without a dr's note.

Telling Family? We told DH's family a few weeks ago just because we saw them in person. They live 6 hours away so we only see them about every 6-8 weeks. We'll tell my family this weekend.

Telling Friends? A lot of my friends know already because we have kids the same age and have been talking about TTC.

Seeing your doctor/midwife? I've seen him twice already. We had our first "official" visit yesterday with a u/s.

Telling Family? --- told both sets of parents week after we found out (5 week mark)
Telling Friends? --- Told my best friend (she prego & has had m/c & a son) but waiting to tell everyone else till the 3rd month (mid July were going on a big lake trip & will tell then). Got a job promotion so had to tell my boss WAY earlier than wanted...
Seeing your doctor/midwife? -- Week 7 + 6 days is my 1st apt (next Tuesday!)

I am not sure. I'm touring/ having my first appointment next week and the 1st respectively but we're really enjoying the excitement together.

Telling Family? We'd like to wait until I'm 12 weeks but we'll be spending three days with family over the 4th of July so we'll probably end up telling then.

Telling Friends? Never? Um. As it comes up I guess.

Seeing your doctor/midwife? I had my first appointment on the 9th. I have an appt with the MFM on the 23rd and then again with my regular OB on the 27th.
