first u/s today! PsIP

So we went in for our u/s this morning and I was a wreck! Half nervous, half excited. We got in and of course my RE did an internal u/s. At first, all she (and I) saw was an empty sac. Nothing. I was about to cry. And then she said, "oh wait, wait!! There it is!!" OMG thank god. Hiding in a little corner. She said that there was a little blood around the sac (but she said this didn't mean I could miscarry) and so it was a little hazy, but she saw the fetal pole and the yolk sac, then she pointed out the heartbeat!! Going at 114 bpm!! I was so relieved!! I was really hoping for a number over 100, and she said that heart rates for that time are usually between 90 and the one-teens. I'm also measuring 6w3d (she said since it was a little hazy, it was the best she could do, but I'm willing to bet she was right on), so 1 day ahead!!! We get another u/s next Wednesday and then she'll release us to an OB!!

Here is the sac and what she measured. I put red dots over the x's so that they would be easier to see. I don't know how she measured it, but I guess she sees these things everyday! You can't see it clearly because of the blood that she said was there.

Here is the picture of the heartbeat. She found it and we could see it flickering on the screen and were able to hear it! It was amazing! Everything is to the left of the sac.
