Starting solids and change in appetite

Ever since Beckett started eating two small solid meals a day, his appetite for the bottle has changed. He still probably takes 20-24 ozs a day, but that's a huge drop from what he used to take. He's in the 90th percentile for weight so he's not a tiny boy. Is it normal for them to not be as interested in formula/BM once they start solids? I know it's important for him to get most of his calories from the bottle so I'm a little worried.

Alright I'm done unloading all my worries on you guys for the night Smile

Re: Starting solids and change in appetite

  • What the LC told me is that you should get them the boob/bottle first, then after give then a little food. They shouldn't br making solids a meal yet, its more of a snack after the bottle.
