I've heard of a couple of people doing this recently. I object to joke names in general, but this one is such a lazy joke that I can barely get up the energy to roll my eyes at it. It's "clever" in the same way that Nevaeh is "clever."

I was reading an article in a parenting magazine in the OB office yesterady and there was a couple in there who gave their son that middle name. Very strange. And by strange I mean bad.

I agree with this.

While I agree with PP who said it's clever in the same way that Nevaeh is "clever", I think it can become more (or less) clever, depending on what you pair it with. For instance, Isabella Danger is ridiculous to me. But Maximus Danger is awesome!

Either way, overall I'm okay with it, since it's the middle name. And while it isn't right for my family, I like to hear about other people who have used it.

I agree with this. It's just a middle name. I think people on these boards tend to make too big of a deal about middle names.

There is. I can't remember her name, but her sig pic is of the family in the pool. I think the last time I saw her, there was drama over some name she thought was ridiculous (might have been the Koen thread). I don't think I've seen her since.

Yes, her screenname is Ruby_Soho, and her son's name is Felix Danger. Big Smile

She is still an active poster on the Bump. I agree that she has not posted on our board in a while, but I'm hoping it's only because the other boards are more intriguing to her at the moment, and not because she's mad about one silly comment from a newbie (if I remember correctly).
