I know we don't have milk gauges on our boobs (that would be nice!) but usually we can tell if we're full or empty and whatnot. I am curious as to whether regular breast size plays into the ability to tell just how full you are. Here is my idea. I have very small boobs. So there's not much else happening in there other than the milk itself. It's blatantly clear to me when I'm empty, and roughly how much milk there is when I'm not empty. The change is mostly one of hardness but the size changes as well. Because I have no comparison, I wonder whether it's just as easy to tell how full you are when you have large boobs? So my question for everyone who wants to participate -- do you have an easy or hard time telling how much milk you have left? And are your boobs big or small?
You can answer if you've already weaned. And I know it's easier to participate if you pump at least occasionally so you have a way of testing how full you are in the first place.

This exactly, except for the large chest part. At the beginning, I would get engorged and had a crazy milk supply. Now, I hardly ever feel full or empty. It almost seems as if the milk is made on demand.
This.
The pedi agreed. I told her I never feel "full" and she said it's because my boobs are ginormous.
